Reckless

UW-Stevens Point Dance Department

When designing lighting I feel it is important to communicate what I intend to do early in the production process. The following are examples of this communication that I did for Reckless.

At this point in the play Lloyd is in deep alchoholic depression. A light green toplight gives the scene a slightly sickly feeling, a high saturation blue light from the front fills the shadows and gives the impression of nighttime, and a medium saturation amber is used at a low intensity as fill light to give the impression of incandecent hotel light fixtures.
