There are several scenes that take place in a car while it is traveling down the highway. These scenes were an area of specific concern and discussion in pre-production. The challenge was solved by creating a car engine Doppler effect and reinforcing it with the suggestion of the glow of headlights building on the actors faces and following the build with receding taillights.
