Twilight of the Golds

Twilight of the Golds expresses a universal conflict in human evolution between the organic and the scientifically manipulated. David's operatic perspective interprets the decay of natural, organic beauty as a result of the scientific influences. In direct opposition, Rob views science as the savior of the human race. Rob's view of the world will be clearly expressed with a cold, geometric, and orderly NYC apartment. David's perspective will contrast this with warm, natural, and organic rock forms surrounding the inner world of the apartment.
Just as the lives of the characters are closely intertwined, the scenic elements will contain influences from both perspectives. A dual function should be apparent in all pieces.
